Your Marrakech desert tour starts in the morning towards the Merzouga desert. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains, passing by some kasbahs, the Berber villages of the Atlas, as we continue driving through the mountains. After a few hours of driving through the Atlas Mountains, we will arrive at the Ait Ben Haddou kasbah, a famous World Heritage Site. You will enjoy a well-served lunch near the kasbah before continuing to drive towards Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa). In Ouarzazate, the Taourirt kasbah and the Atlas studios were where several movies were filmed, such as Game of Thrones and much more. We will then drive towards Skoura and the Valley of the Roses. We will spend the night at the hotel.

Dinner and overnight

Our three-day Moroccan desert trip to Merzouga continues after breakfast. We will then drive along roads lined with ancient kasbahs and many attractive Berber villages in the Toudra Gorges to Tineghir, a stunning valley filled with date palms. Experience the high grey and pink rock walls around the road as we walk through the 300m high canyons.

We will then head to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, Sahara Desert, and enjoy your lunch in Tinjdad. As soon as you reach the famous Erg Chebbi dunes, we will allow you to enjoy a one-hour camel ride while watching the sunset in style, heading to the oasis where a camp is located. EnglishThere is nothing more interesting than spending the night in the Sahara dunes of Merzouga in a bivouac under traditional nomadic tents or in the open air under the shooting stars. You can also spend the night playing drums with the experienced camel guide if you wish.

After enjoying the amazing sunrise among the sand dunes and having breakfast, you will ride back to the lodge by camel.

You will travel directly back to Marrakech and make a few stops along the way. You will enjoy your lunch and then continue towards the red city of Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 meters above sea level). Arrival in Marrakech and return to your accommodation in Marrakech.
